m.i.c. and dj cutt

in 1996 vestry records dropped an underground bomb! m.i.c. and dj cutt aka constant deviants released their debut record called "competition catch speed knots"; a heavy bassline and a strong voice stuck together perfectly.

one year later, the two artists showed up with another name and additional mc's. as global platoon they released another 12" on launchpad records. two brand new tracks including the dope cut "crew family".

nevertheless, m.i.c. and dj cutt got back together in '98 to drop two more singles as constant deviants ("can't stop" and "8th wonder").

i'm not sure what they are up to nowadays...please use the comments section if you know more.

note: since my man ed gave me the hint...i checked the flipside of the global platoon record for fla-fla from sparrow, and indeed, it has to be him. check the labelscan below, there are additional mc's listed and one of them is fla. but it says "j. givens" which is wrong. it should be j.giddins. anyway, thanks ed for dropping your knowledge in here, really appreciated.
