back in '88, epmd had an interesting background dancer on their strictly business tour...steve williams from connecticut. one year later, the same kid had his first record released. under the name stezo, he put out the classic "crazy noise" album with productions by the almighty paul c. anyway..since i am focused on mid 90ies records on this site, i wanted to present you three records he put out after a break of about four years. in the same manner as three times dope did, stezo appeared on four independent records in the mid 90ies as well after his early career.
1. BOP YA HEADZ
2. SHINING STAR
in '95/'96 stezo released an ep with "time to blow ya mind", "tension off the chest", "figure it out" & "where's the funk at". i don't have that one though.

1. TIME TA BLOW YA MIND
2. TENSION OFF THE CHEST (FEAT. K-SOLO)

1. MR. S
2. FUNKY FOR YA
while the first two records were produced by chris lowe, the last one has productions by a guy called k-b.
after these records, stones throw released older stezo material- a 12" with tracks from '89-90 and a remix by koushik. also i think he had an appearance on the "i gotcha" album of his cousin dooley o.
hit me up should you have a spare copy of the ep or audio of "figure it out" and "where's the funk at".

enjoy!
