shrlock da madman

«i try to maintain and keep this rap thing true, new york might be dope but richmond brothers got flavor too!»

i couldn't start this one better than with this quote from the featured mc itself. i present to you this record by shrlock da madman on rolling records from '96. some of you might already be aware of this 12". i also featured «for what it was» on my volume 5 mix back in '07. shrlock da madman is from virginia and has nothing to do with sherlock from sweden. i don't know if that's his only record out there- enlighten me if you know more.

i like the whole record, but i stick straight to the last track. also, a full track with the intro beat would have been nice too! keep your eyes open for this one.

SHRLOCK ALL COMP. SLIDE BACK 12" '96

1. SLIDE BACK
2. TOP NOTCH
3. SET IT OFF
4. FOR WHAT IT WAS

So good !
I feel like I've been punch. You are mean Akutt. Just kidding, thanks a lot man, this is crazy dope.
Can't really choose a winner but "Top Notch" bassline, lyrics, flow drive me crazy.
"whatever it's clever trouble
and nothing change but the weather
cause over the years wack rappers still ain't got no better"

Big co-sign on Hightower saying that "For What It Was" being the big winner here. But I dig it way more than the rest cause of the beat.
Thanks for another one akutt! Can't find this one online anywhere.
