the realist

from the depths of wyoming, michigian i present you the realist. i read pit records must have released this ep around '94, but i'm not sure. could also been a few years later.

the gimme love ep features five tracks. once again it's hard to find any info about these cats, but you get two mc's along with d.j. shonski rockin' the joints. pretty mellow shit right here..sounds like a mix of the nonce, mass influence, tribe, pharcyde...check it out!

THE REALIST "GIMME LOVE EP" '9x

1. WHERE (ROYALTY CHECK)
2. 420 (KEEP DOIN IT)
3. WHATCHA NEED (LIVE)
4. GIMME LOVE (BUY MY TAPE)
5. SLICK MIKE (BACK ON THE STREETS)

Yo! This group was originally called Euro-K and they released an 1990 self-titled lp on Profile records.

I saw them play at a golf course near Grand Valley State U in 1996 and picked up a 7 track album by them called "Nervous Circus." Not bad for a low dollar production!
